Guys i don't think i have posted here much if at all!!! But i just got back from the gig in brisbane and it was absolutely unreal!!! The band had so much energy and really seemed to be enjoying themselves. Ed made reference to the bad crowd last gig and said it is always good to play a show after a poor crowd when you get such a good one like the brissy crowd. So pumped to here the new gear live, life wasted and parachutes were sensational, faithfull, solat, black and ledbetter, off he goes. I was just blown away by the set and how well they played, can't wait for tomorrow night. I know its not a very detailed review but i am still trying to piece it all together!! Such a strong opening!!!

I guess everything that I've read about regarding the bad Sydney crowd was confirmed by EV himself. This sounds like a very strong nomination for my first aussie boot to buy (finally).

I know Alive is a good chance they seem to be playing it on most sets this tour, YB is a long shot, Black is a 50/50 they played it in Brisbane last time but on the night before I saw them :(

Eddie must have read my post last night and granted me these three wishes

F'en awesome show I think we got given an extra helping and comments were made about how good the crowd was after a sh*t crowd elsewhere (no location specified but we know where he was reffering to) - I dont know if this is true but I heard that the reason the crowd wasnt too good is because they didnt play well as apparently eddie was out drinking until 5am with Bono, but then again a 5am drinking session would be normal for the boys by the time they finished their set and got to the pub. Also Kings of Leon commented how the crowd was better so it couldnt have been bad beacuse of PJ because they were already bad before they came on

Still can't believe we got yellow ledbetter. The house lights came on when they played rockin in the free world and we thought that was the end and then they pulled out YB

I didnt realise they played SOLAT but I remember towards the end one of the songs I couldnt hear the lyrics very well they were drowned ou so it must have been this song

Sounds like both the band and the crowd took revenge for Sydney 2! Ed sang part RITFW in the crowd in Arnhem as well. Awesome!
