I think they played in Glasgow in 2000. Hopefully they will be coming back to UK soon.

Im hoping for a 3 night Glasgow special, the SECC for the masses, then the Barras, then an accoustic night at the Oran Moor.

    Aye, that'll be right!! lol

Im wondering if they will ever come to Scotland again to be honest, theyve only been here twice since they started touring. I cant afford it at the moment as im in my last year of uni, but me and some friends have decided that we will probably have to fork out so that we can go and see them abroad at some point.
People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.

ermmm.... i really dont think that is what was meant by the comment. it wasnt a remark on your spelling...

It was a question as to why you cannot go to England to watch PJ play.

I think that was pretty obvious.

Did you not know that this is the 'Society for proper English grammer' message board? We only use Pearl Jam as a cover for our finnicky obsession.

Maybe they don't like the weather there? I heard Edinburgh and Glasgow had to cancel their NYE celebrations because of wind and rain. ;)

    It's grammar, not grammer. :)

I think Dave was asking you a question as to why you can't travel to England to see them......are you not allowed to leave Scotland on account of your atrocious use of spelling and grammar perhaps?

p.s. saying you want a band to come and play at your house is the single most unoriginal and cringeworthy thing you can say on a message board

There should be a full stop at the end of message board.

Seriously though, if Pearl Jam played anywhere in Scotland i would be overjoyed, but i can't see it happening unfortunately. When they announced they were playing the Leeds festival i had just paid for my T in the Park tickets and was totally skint, and the same goes for when they announced Dublin.

I beg to differ.. i have it on good authority from other daft scottish fuckers that they wont let us doon in 2007!!

we have a McCready and a Cameron tartan salesman currently flying to Seattle as we type... whereuponst he will be infiltrating each band member and bribing them with Irn Bru, fat lassies in leggings and deep-fried things...

    how can they resist? :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

It's in the bag. I can see a 5 nights at the Barras type thing resulting from that!
