dont quit f5 the kickstarter site...demetrios has mentioned they do pop up when somebody changes their contribution to another artist...good luck

Thanks. Been F5ing and refreshing (mac) like crazy. My eyes are hurting!! Hoping for the best. If not I'll trade my extra Benny for someone's pono plus something reasonable, like FLAC files or $100 PJ gift card or guitar picks or single(s) or something. Seems like that could be fair trade.

Exactly! Don't quite now. With 5 day's left you never know what will happen. Keep F5'ing every once & a while. The last few minutes next Tuesday @ 1:30PM est will be pretty wild.

Also, when some of these guys' wives see the newest credit card statement (especially guys that bought two Ponos) there will be some available in Lost Dogs and on eBay.
And if you play hardball, you will probably be able to pick one up for the original cost.

well sir you are definitely entitled to your own opinion but I have to respectfully disagree that Benny is overrated. So I guess you don't own a Benny vinyl? Do you think the setlist is bad or that it doesn't sound as good on wax as everyone claims?

I'll chime in and offer my opinion: unless you have benjamins falling out of your pockets as you stroll through the streets... $1000 for a used record might very well place something in the 'hype' category. The setlist is fine and it probably sounds great... but come on... $1000 or more?

With that said, the pono is experiencing a similar effect right now. For the moment, for $100 less, a music enthusiast could purchase a player without PJ's 'signature'. Motivation for purchasing the ponoi aside, it's fair to say that in all reality... the PJ pono will likely see a gross exaggeration of it's initial value after delivery.

OP... don't sell the farm. I guarantee that if you sit by your computer on the 14th and 15th (when some balk at making the purchase)... refreshing the hell out of the kickstarter page... you'll have a chance to purchase one. If not... then look to do your deal.

BUT, I thought Greatplainsman is knocking the set list or packaging or overall sound of it by saying "it does nothing for me" and i have Benny and IT SOUNDS fantastic. I agree you have to be "rich" to spend $1000 on a record like this, but I was not saying anything about the current value on the market. Thanks!

I want it to spin as much as anyone - I love the show and want to hear it on vinyl - but I agree that it's one of the ugliest albums. That burgundy vinyl is gross. I know it wouldn't sound gross though, and that's what really matters!
