ISO PJ artist Pono player. Got one woohoo!!
Thanks to all you who gave me the tips. Patience does pay off sometimes. Thanks also to those of you who pm me for possible trades. Sorry, keeping the Benny. Going to buy a turntable soon. Never know... Might have to spin it in the future... Maybe when my young kids start school. <:-P

And if you play hardball, you will probably be able to pick one up for the original cost.
Dammit! I've been randomly retrying all day. Double dammit!!
Maybe I should get the Beck one with Loser preloaded on it. L-)
With that said, the pono is experiencing a similar effect right now. For the moment, for $100 less, a music enthusiast could purchase a player without PJ's 'signature'. Motivation for purchasing the ponoi aside, it's fair to say that in all reality... the PJ pono will likely see a gross exaggeration of it's initial value after delivery.
OP... don't sell the farm. I guarantee that if you sit by your computer on the 14th and 15th (when some balk at making the purchase)... refreshing the hell out of the kickstarter page... you'll have a chance to purchase one. If not... then look to do your deal.
BUT, I thought Greatplainsman is knocking the set list or packaging or overall sound of it by saying "it does nothing for me" and i have Benny and IT SOUNDS fantastic. I agree you have to be "rich" to spend $1000 on a record like this, but I was not saying anything about the current value on the market. Thanks!
