We have a man by the name of Peter Labarbera coming to speak at a Pro-Life convention in our town of about 12000 people, Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada on April 11th and 12th. This religious zealot is better known for the hatred he spews about the LGTB community and has been given a podium by our provincial pro-life association to further promote his twisted agenda. Some good people have started a group called Intolerance Free Weyburn, and have a petition on "change.org", http://www.change.org/en-CA/organizations/intolerance_free_weyburn that can be signed to protest his speaking in our town. It would be great if some from the Pearl Jam community could find their way to that site to sign the petition and help show this dark souled human being that hatred will not be tolerated.

Why do these psycho religious types have such a raging hard-on for the Gays?
I mean, isn't it Jesus' and His Dad's job to pass judgement on them? Why don't they just let Jesus and God figure it out?

To be truthful, I had never heard of Peter LaBarbera and the anti-gay group he founded — I can’t keep up with all the anti-gay folks in the U.S., and I really don’t understand why they are so hung up on the sexual activities of people they don’t even know. I mean, why do they spend so much time and effort on sexual themes rather than focusing on the bigger issues, like guns, weapons of mass destruction, war, homelessness, hunger, global warming etc.
