Where to stay in London, UK

The Mrs. and I are going to London in July, and are looking for ideas where to stay. I've stayed in Bloombury a few times, as well as Paddington, Kings Cross, Trafalgar Square and around High Street Kensington/Holland Park.

I've looked at a few hotels near the Glouchester tube stop, as well as one near Lincoln Fields for this time around.

Any Londoners have any advice. Budget is approx GBP 150 per night.
