I really didn't like sterns appearance last night. He was obnoxious. He didn't let Dave talk at all. His best appearances were the one where there was a good back and forth between the two. Then he hijacked don rickles apperance. He shouldn't have been out there. Whatever.
Did anyone e catch Brian Regans performance? It was pretty good.
I agree. I love Howard and listen to his show religiously, but he was really obnoxious. He has done that the last few times he was on the show. Oh well. Rickles is still hilarious.
Stern and Rickles were both assholes. I still laughed a lot though. "Kiss me, Dave!"

found yesterday show a bit uneven. what i loved was that you will never really see 2 grown ass men on a late show just talking about some important thing outside of the daily show.
I wasn't expecting this at all. so excited. anyone else feel a weird sense of pride when you heard the news? like the lead singer of our favorite band has been chosen as the last musical guest of our favorite and best late night show of all time?

I hope he sings Black, I too got excited to hear Eddie is appearing and we all have awesome taste!
Or Hail, Hail since the CBS Orchestra played that song more times than Pearl Jam going into and out of commercial breaks
yeah I saw someone suggest that on facebook....kinda think dave would prefer a song that they are more known for though. and he obviously loves Black...

and with Ed doing Letterman on Monday got to think the chances are pretty high he's at The Who show sunday night at the Wells Fargo.
He also seemed drunk but I have to say, a lot of the guests the past couple of weeks owe their careers to Dave and you can tell they know and are appreciative of Dave giving them a chance. Norm was overwhelmed by the emotion of it.
