It was all over the news that the US govt was looking for someone that could potentially become another Ft Hood shooter.
Yesterday they said they were still concerned but the threat was over and it was all no big deal.
Today, there's an active shooter at Ft Hood.
And people tell me that it's all a coincidence. Yeah, sure.

I hadn't heard anything recently about searching for a potential shooter, though...also wasn't mentioned in the article I just read.
there should have been "more good guys with guns there" since it is, you know, a fucking military base...
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
Fort Hood is a "gun-free" zone.
here is what is going to happen.
everyone is going to be sad about this.
everyone is going to comfort one another and try to "find answers".
someone will say more guns is the solution.
someone will say more guns is the problem.
someone will blame the shooter and question his mental health.
someone will blame the gun and how easy it is to get one.
the nra will mount another pr campaign.
the president will give a speech and make a promise the republicans will not let him keep.
we will try to talk about how to prevent this in the future.
kim kardashian will post a selfie and everyone will stop giving a shit about guns.
another mass shooting will happen again.
the cycle will repeat itself.
it will never stop.
and nobody gives a shit as long as they or their loved ones were not involved as victims or shooters.
the end.

A self-professed jihadist who threatened online to commit a "Fort Hood-inspired" act of terror was weeks away from reporting for basic training when the military learned of his radicalism - which had apparently been on display for months in online posts where he praised Usama bin Laden and pledged to die for radical Islam.
The man identified in an FBI-sourced alert as "Booker, also known as Muhammad Abdullah Hassan" appears to be the same person who wrote of his jihadist aspirations, cheered on the murder of American troops in Iraq and praised the Al Qaeda terror boss in posts stretching back months, FoxNews.com has learned.
“Getting ready to be killed in jihad is a HUGE adrenaline rush! I am so nervous," read a March 19 post on the Facebook page authorities believe belonged to the subject of the alert. "NOT because I’m scared to die but I am EAGER to meet my lord.”
