Was I correct in reading that it was 120g only? I also wonder if PJ threw this out there for a RSD appeasement?
Every year for RSD PJ has thrown something on their website. Will it be this again, SG, Mudhoney or a surprise?

I still want one. Anybody want to trade?

I get your point, it is a bit different though, but just a bit.
Why buy an item that you don't want?

Because someone else wants it and there is money to be made! is that so hard to understand? Its called a dog-eat -dog world for a reason!
Seriously was this reaction worth the time posting it?

I know people who say that you are resonsible if someone steels your car if you don't lock it.
Forgetting to locking your car is not the best thing to forget, but that shill doesn't mean
someone else has the right to take what is not theirs.
You do the same thing, your reasoning is the wrong way around.
You say it's a dog eat dog world so it's alright.
But the only reason it's a dog eat dog world is because of that type reasoning.
Flipping is morally injust, buying it with the soul reason to trade is only slightly less shamefull.
If you want to make money try and make something yourself, and by something I don't mean scarcity.
It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

More power to those who scored. If I cared enough to buy and people were offering $200 I would do it in a second. Always makes me laugh how people don't realize they will get one for half the price if they just wait a little.

The problem is, that's not always the case.
The price on this one will come down after the initial frenzy. A few months from now some people will realized that they already have multiple copies of Ten and that this version it is just sitting on their shelf collecting dust. They will decide to sell to get some cash. Just like with the white BS.
Maybe, but this one is way cooler than a white bs.
Because you have already seen it in person?
Right, I forgot everything has to be qualified around here. I meant it SOUNDS way cooler.
he's heard it too!! total stoke! i smell tuna...
Jesus. Let me try this again. What I meant to say was, TO ME, THE DESCRIPTION of this record sounds like something I'D like to have in MY record collection. Feel free to have a different opinion though. I'm not trying to stoke anything. Get it now?
Let me know if I need to explain my point further. Something tells me I might.

I was lucky (was sat at laptop the moment the email landed) and pre-ordered one. When it finally gets to England's green and pleasant land and through customs (no VAT please Mr Camoron) I'm going to open it and play it and look at it and keep it until i die and then my kids will take it down to a charity shop and some one will pick it up for a pittance and take it home. I hope the person who takes it home after my death and the charity shop vinyl offload doesn't flip it.

buying a preorder for $30 and trading it same day for $200 10 year old LP is fliping, plan and simple

Especially when the only reason you bought the vinyl was to trade it

This doesn't pass the smell test for me, unless of course the 10 year old LP was originally worth $200. By this theory, the only way to obtain an expensive collectable (ie: old vinyl) is to pay the flipper's $200 asking price. If the 10 year old vinyl was originally worth $30, and the coke bottle vinyl is worth $30, and someone can get the $200 item for the original price by trading the coke bottle LP for it....who's to say that is an unethical trade? or is it 'right' to say that people shut out on limited releases, or old vinyl, are SOL? If you buy the new Ten with the intent of keeping it, but change your mind a month later and decide to trade it for the $200 vinyl...are you still a flipper or are you ok? The people who fuck this all up are the ones who make this a business - horde whatever they can get their hands on with the intent of selling for cash profit. I don't personally consider it flipping for profit when trading one collectible for another, or selling one collectible to buy another. I will likely do just that. I could have easily bought 5 (I was on the newbury site probably 15 min before it sold out).....but that would be hording for profit. Without any enforceable controls in place for these sales, the customers determine the ethics of the secondary market....it is what it is.
