Just to clarify, by "original" you mean the 2011 European reissue, correct (since it's on red)? Any pics?
Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
• The original is on purple and orange vinyl. You have the Music on Vinyl reissue. One sold on Ebay for $31 a few weeks ago.

$150 price difference is far from snarky.

The orange and purple album is not Songs for the Deaf but Lullabies to Paralyze. It has been reissued in 2011 on red and also on black vinyl. Songs for the Deaf came out on red wax originally. But there's tons of fake bootlegs out there. The original has a little flower etched next to the spine. I researched that cause I have a red one, but it turned out to be a bootleg. I would be all over this, but I don't have the funds right now. Good luck for your sale, OP!

Oh, and oopsie, just reading all of the posts here, it seems you posted the wrong album title at first lol Still, good luck!

I dont know about the flower but it's an IPC-41 I've verified it that it's original. If anyone's interested I can send pictures to via text message or email

I was just trying to clarify so I knew which version it was.

The actual IPC-41 release was Black Vinyl, with a Glossy Gatefold "Q" Sleeve.
IPC-43 is the original Red but it was mislabeled as IPC-41, which is sounds like yours is. The side A Matrix code should have a Drawing / Etching of a flower at the end of the code, which indicates that the record was mastered by Brian Gardner. If not it's likely one of many bootlegs of this album.

If you can send pics I'm sure it would generate a lot of interest. It's a tough one to find and rather collectible!

My bootleg one is also labelled IPC-41. The flower is missing and the parental advisory sticker is printed on, sadly.

Here is a good overview over the different versions of the album (and every other QOTSA, Josh Homme or Kyuss album for that matter), also with pictures :)http://jhodiscography.xtreemhost.com/releases/qotsa/vinyl/lp/73/#rel

Yup it's there etched flower and etched matrix code. Bad news is now that I've seen these are going for way more with the flower I might have to re evaluate my price
• {if (work != 0) {
work = work + 1;
sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
else if (work >= 0) {
reality.equals(false);
work = work +1;
}system("pause");
return 0;}

It makes sense, these are extremely rare. You should at least seek market value,

I have this album, and it is indeed an original, etched flower, wrong code and all. $200 is a totally fair price. It's fucking awesome. Good luck with the sale.
