I just saw the news about BP. I live 5 miles from Lake Michigan in beautiful northwest Indiana. Those mother fuckers did it again!!!!!! An "unknown amount" of oil leaking into my backyard, how is this possible? Lucky me...tar balls in my mouth this summer.

This is a disturbing quote from the article posted.

Mike Beslow, the EPA’s emergency response coordinator, said there appeared to be no negative effects on Lake Michigan

One of the saddest parts of this is it reminds me how short the collective American memory is. I wonder how many Americans, like myself, vowed to never again do business with BP after they ruined the gulf, only to quietly give up and forget.
