carrying kind on flight ?

is it safe to carry the kind on board.
any suggestions on sneaking it on ?

    I wouldn't do it. Its not worth it. But hey I would love to hear if you do it.

    lemme know how you make out....im flying out for the SF shows and my friend I think is considering checking it in a cooler that we are gonna pack with gear and wrap in some duct tape.....i dunno how good an idea either of these are but i dont know anyone in SF so im not sure how else we could manage this..

    I fly out of McCarther airport here on Long Island, NY a lot to my fathers in VA. Its a small airport. They never pat me down so I've had it in my wallet duct taped. Just make sure your not putting it through the scan area. Then again I've stopped taking it with me because I can find it while I'm at my destination...so maybe you should try that.

    Wear tighty whitey's. Tuck the baggy in the pocket up front. Make sure you're clean of metal so you don't get an additional search while going through security. Even if you do, no sweat, they're just scanning for metal. There's a small chance I've done this dozens of times with no problems. DO NOT check it or put it in your carry on before you go through security. If/when they search your bag at any point you're fucked. Keep it on you. If it stinks (it better!) either vacuum seal it or wrap it in some fabric softner sheets. If you don't want to go through the flight with your crotch stinking of the sticky icky then hit the crapper once you get through security and reload it in your carry on. Easy breezy!

    is it really worth the risk?

    i'm not saying either way, just something you have to ask yourself...is it worth not only dealing with authorities but also missing PJ shows?

    The Crotch always works. If you're traveling with a lady, her bra is a good place as well. I have a lot of friends that just put it in their front pocket as well.

    I almost learned the hard way once. I had it wrapped and sealed in a bottle of dark green shampoo. I was pulled aside because the metal detector went off and it was this tiny piece of metal on my belt that was triggering it. So while they were patting me down the lady watching the x-ray machine was staring at me. I looked at her and I see my bag go through and you could see it clear as day! Luckily she turned around after it passed and I grabbed my backpack and took off :)
