"I know I was born and I know that I'll die...the in between is mine"
Terrible choice for a single - the worst possible - but I'm intrigued by the tour dates.... where oh where will they be? :-?
I agree from the perspective of the single choice not being my taste (I'm glad they released LB but was really hoping on Getaway), but based on the massive success of Just Breathe (just reached platinum status) and strong success of Sirens, I think this will be a successful single for the band in terms of airplay and sales.

Sure, I guess. I just hate the song, lol..... Then again, those keyboards on the studio version are BAD. I think the mass market might hate them too.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
The only thing that matters to me are Tour Fucking Dates ...

Future Days is/should have been a solo Eddie song only. I don't mind some of the cheesy soft stuff when it's just him, but tagging it as "Pearl Jam" stuff like that just doesn't fit in, in my opinion. Think Skipping. Great Eddie solo song... never should be on a PJ album. The End, Future Days, etc... should have been random solo songs....

I'm really surprised they made this a single instead of Getaway or Lightning Bolt. But tour dates? Bring that shit on!!!!

I'm calling "fake" on this single. Why wouldn't the release of a new single be posted on these boards by 10C?
I'm crying foul!
If this is an official release then WTH doesn't 10C tell the faithful first?
Rich Russo is a very reliable source. Also it's a radio only single not a physical release, why would they need to tell us first or at all.
Other fan sites the band messages, tweets, instagrams, about updates. On here we get tour news and the occasional fundraiser. You would figure that they would be excited about releasing a single.
I'm actually surprised that there isn't someone on here with good inside info...
I just hope the radio waves don't beat Future Days into the ground like they did Sirens. I didn't care for Sirens to begin with, now I want to punch babies and punt kittens every time I hear it. I happen to like Future Days, so please don't ruin it, radio!

A single does that mean anything nower days? They don't release anthing they haven't already released apart form another video. It used to mean B-sides, but what is it for nower days? Do radio stations really react to it? And if so why? If they wanted they could have played it anyway. I don't get why they do it.
It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

That being said: this is far from an official PJ tweet. Looks to be some radio DJ from NYC. Is this guy known for having reliable PJ information in the past?

My main reason for posting this was the tour dates. The single info is meaningless. Not a knock on future days but a radio only single is not really news anynore.
As for Rich Russo. Yes he is extremely reliable. Not just with PJ but will almost all bands. He's a huge Bruce guy too and is always very careful about what he shares. If I remember correctly he was one of the first to have PJ20 weekend info.
I also suggest checking out his shows if you can get them. He does a few hours of completely free form radio every Sunday. It's excellent.
