Big Accident In Mansfield (be Aware)

There was a tractor trailer that flipped over on 495 south right after the Mansfield 140 exit. That is the lane that you get into to get to great woods. I drove by it going north at 2pm and the truck was still on its side.

    of all places for a truck to flip, guess we're heading to the venue a little earlier,...

    boston.com recommended taking exit 10 instead of 11 if the accident has not been cleared up yet.

    Crash Shuts Down Roads Near Comcast Center
    MANSFIELD (WBZ) ― There is a traffic advisory in Mansfield.

    Police say Route 140 south to Route 495 south and 495 south of Access Road 140 will be closed for several hours because of a crash involving a tractor-trailer truck.

    The truck spilled lumber on the ramp from Route 140 leading to 495 south. The driver's condition is not known.

    Anyone trying to get to the Comcast Center for the Pearl Jam concert should now exit Route 495 south at Route 123 in Norton.

    I drove by just a little while ago (maybe 3pm) and the ramp was still closed! But there are detour signs up, so it's easy to re-route yourself! All of the emergency personel, clean up crews and such were there to clean it all up so it might be cleared by then.....
