those opening notes

i cant be the only one that when drivin around and all of a sudden... y led. those opening notes hit hard and its just an awesome feeling that song gives off, the best part is the last couple minutes where its all mike. cant help but turn it up every time. and if im alone on that then what song does it for you? ha

    I was posting in another thread where there was asked if PJ ever made me cry.
    As I had already pressed post comment I figured I forgot one moment, or song.

    Yes Yellow ledbetter got me misty eyed and with goosebums on my arms at my first PJ gig.
    like you mentioned it were are those opening notes that did the trick.

    i know how ya feel. when i finally saw y led for the first time in philly it got me too lol

    It seems you had to wait two gigs for it to come.
    Some how I have the impression I have seen it alot, but that isn't so.
    I only heard it three times at a show. Although the other two times didn't have the same impact as it did the first time, it still is a sweet farwell salute.

    yea but well worth the wait. ive been lucky enough to see a hell of alot of rare and good songs in my few shows. but y led at the end of night 2. topped off a great week. its always been one of my favorite songs. its why i bought night 2 tickets before night one lol

    After reading "Those opening notes" I said "Yellow Ledbetter". Hands down greatest guitar of my life. I feel just as strongly about the ending!!

    corduroy live always gets me..just an amazing song..unfornunate they didn't catch mikes solo on the record, a dreaded fade out..sets up the gig for me...
