Sullivan echoed Rushdie, adding if Clinton were to run against Paul, "She'll come off like a neocon, because in fact, she is a bit of a neocon."

Author Amy Chua said Paul is "so independent-minded," which attracts a lot of support.

    Bill Maher, died-in-the-wool Libertarian. I love it that he's full of crap now and then so I can remember he isn't perfect. :-)

    It's the only thread I could find on rand Paul. And i didnt want to start a new one.

    If this guy wasn't anti gay and anti abortion, I could vote for him. But his damn social issues lean way to far right. And his gun control stance leaves something to be desired.

    Anyone talk to unsung outside of here? How is he doing?

    I wish he'd get back on here - I certainly appreciated his point of view even if I didn't always agree with him!
    Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

    Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...
