The red rocks shows are probably one of my all time favorite... but I have a problem....
I can't get over the version of Lukin performed at the second show and I MUST know EXACTLY what Ed changed the lyrics to cause I can't sing along xD
I know he's thrown some nonesense agitated throat rips in there when they play it live, but I know there's something being said and with all the million and a half times I have tried to make it out I just can't. So can someone help me out? (: AT LEAST the chorus lol, the part after he says he's going to Lukin's of course
Doesn't help the copy I have isn't the greatest quality :(

I never leave, not leavin' my own fuckin' home
I never leave my bed don't sleep .. away from home
she's always there can't leave my fuckin' home
I'm goin to Lukin's It gets me all the way from home
I'm going to Lukin's where would I go
....... And every time I do come home.
I always ..... my fuckin home
And give me
Everytime
This was the best that I came up with. For so far I could hear the words it seems a bit strange, but maybe you can puzzle with it and let me know.
I do feel he's just following the melody with an improvisation because he doesn't quite remeber the lyrics.
On the other hand the is repeating the same thing, or at least it seems similair.
I have that idea because I compared it with other 1995 Lukin versions and in the first verse he keeps doing it this way.
But Eddie seems to get a better grip on the chorus and second verse later on in the year.

and yeah I agree with you on the fact its mostly improved over the melody, but thats the best part
gives the song a deeper edge to it imo
The fact that he repeated the same improve a few nights does give some extra meaning to it.
Apparently he liked what he came up with.

yesterday I opted that he may have forgotten the words.
But No code wasn't even released yet so perhaps he's still searching. By the time Soldierfield was played the lyrics may have gotten more form.
