I am relatively new to vinyl. I am seeing a ton of re-issues. Im curious though, how do you know how these are recorded? How would these sound compared to an original?!

Go after the originals, I recently picked up from Led Zep I through to Physical Graffiti paying between £10 and £25 for each. All but one were in great condition and sounded amazing. Where possible I'll always go after originals than reissues. And the great thing with vinyl from the 60s and 70s is so much of it was produced not like in the last 20 years where alot of releases were limited runs.
I think that as long as they official reissues as opposed to bootlegs it is just fine. I mean, with a lot of LZ albums, the band reissued them several times in just one year, and in many different countries. They are all high quality. It's the actual fakes that you need to avoid.

But now no one has to worry about it. I think the new deluxe vinyl is definitely the way to go! Cannot wait until they get to Physical Graffiti!.... I am going to have a whole shitload of Led Zep vinyl once all is said and done, lol. I am glad I only got around to buying 4 or 5 led zep albums before this reissue project.
Bullmoose (Portsmouth, NH) is selling all 3 super deluxe for $102.00. They have an online shop too.

If the shipping is free that’s a really good deal for Americans compared to Amazon.com (i'd have to pay $20 in customs fees and the US - CND $ conversion rate, so not a good deal outside of the states even with free shipping).

I'd be happy just to have a good clean copy of that first LP. I seem to have bad luck with the copies I've found. But then, I did wear my first copy out so I shouldn't complain!

My I and II that I picked up used aren't in the best shape so I might consider these.

Anybody used Bullmoose before? That may be too good of a deal to pass up for the SD's.

Bullmoose is a small chain in NH and Maine, I shop there all the time. Super friendly and great deals.

    1. How do you ship items and how much does it cost?

Shipping is $2.99 for the first item and $1.00 for each additional item.

We ship First Class to New England addresses so local orders often will arrive in a day or two. We ship via UPS Mail Innovations outside New England. They will deliver your order to your post office and the USPS will bring it to your house probably within 5-7 days.

Your order might come in several shipments if that will get them to you more quickly. There is no extra charge for this service.

How The West Was Won is getting the reissue treatment...March 18

Assuming this means new live material later in the year.

Give me something from 1975 or 1977 or don't even bother.

I say "don't even bother" like I wouldn't get whatever they put out.
