BRAZILIAN MEMBERS OPEN LETTER TO TEN CLUB - EV PRESALE

Hello, friends,
This letter was written for many Brazilian members of Ten Club to inquire about the fan club’s official position about today’s “members only” pre-sale for Eddie Vedder’s Brazilian tour in May.
First of all, we are all very grateful for your effort to get us priority and a much needed discount on the tickets. Not only for this, but for everything you always do to help all members and fans in general, we thank you.
On the other hand, though, as you may very well know as of now, the whole thing was a disaster, for many reasons.
Before pre-sale day, fans in Brazil were already talking about how the strategy of sending a general email with the link and the same password for everyone would be dangerous. Immediately, there were already rumors of information leaking to non-club members. There is no way of knowing who used the code and, therefore, no way to know how many of these tickets ended up being bought by actual members. All we know is that several non-members have tickets right now.
In addition to that, to our misfortune, the pre-sale start time informed by e-mail was not respected, and Tickets For Fun’s website started selling tickets at least one hour before the informed time. There were very few tickets available, obviously, and by the time most members signed on most tickets were gone. Also, we have no register of any members getting front row tickets, not even the ones who were fortunate enough to check the website at 9AM. This will result in club members who were willing to pay the very high-priced tickets for first row seats to be seated way back in the theater. We know this is definitely not what Ten Club, or Eddie Vedder, would want to happen.
Knowing that this was, as stated before, a big misfortune, we would like to suggest and ask that in the eventuality of extra dates or in any future events where Pearl Jam is involved we receive an alternative strategy to buy tickets. Be it a single password to each member (if at all possible) or tickets sold directly from the band’s website like in the USA, or even a more effective participation of Ten Club during sales periods.
Concluding our plead, we’d like once again to thank you for your effort and say we are sure you’re working on this as we speak and we’ll have a better solution next time.
Cheers from Brazil!

Comments
Obviously that some people shared the password, and these people are 10C members. So we should blame here a huge lack of empathy of these members with the other members that were trying to buy for themselves.
It's not Ten Club's administration fault.
Muitos beijos.
