What songs do you know? A few weeks isn't much time to put together a set, if you're talking a full 4 or 5 piece band.
How long is your slot? What kinda crowd you playing for?
I'd stick with a lot of classic simple tunes. Maybe a CCR tune, Rockin in the Free World, Ramones, Helter Skelter. Stuff like that goes over well with abut abnybody. My band sticks mostly to classics, but we play some stuff from the more modern classics like SG, PJ, TOOL. Some Foo tunes go over well and they're super easy. Rage always kills.

We know most of the classic bar songs, Hotel California, Tuesdays Gone, Simple Man,. Etc. and we have a few originals. But we will be playing for a older crowd but we wanna jam instead of just play the softer classic rock.
