    My first reaction is I feel bad for the kids that will be affected from the teachers interveneing in their future...

    Why would they want to risk so much for a stupid test? A better protest would be to give out the test and instruct all the students to answer every question with "C", imo.

    The way school system is in North America I'm surprised that they still hand out grades ... Maybe they should just hand out a C for completion and I for in-completion ... I'm sure that day is not to far off though.

    Oh by the way teachers union have way to much power ... imo.

    It's is rather silly to do it if they are not really going to be tested.
    Another point is that it will show on their report card, so credentials are important.
    Must be a catch for those looking for work,

    I think this test is as much a reflection on the student as it is the teacher. It is the job of an educator IMO to not only teach the material, but to prepare the students for test taking by finding out what strategy's works best for each child as an individual, not as a class. Not all kids learn the same way, this is a major problem with the public school system.
