who shared THE experience 2 hours after Astoria? – gatheround here!

You know what I'm talking about! We all stood there, for 2 hours, it was cold, our feet were sour, broken ribs some of us… but we became 10 people who were lucky enough to shake hands with them all! We took pictures, some better, some worse, and were touched by an angle (who appeared high and blissful). Well – I took the lousy photos, I did shake hands, I did get mike's pick from the man himself, and fuck – I gave Eddie a big hug which lasted forever and an instant at once… kind brothers and sisters of this religious moment: Please share your pics and vids. Who's the girl who got him to speak into her camera so willingly? I really neeeed the evidence of this encounter… you know how it feels (BTW I will be getting some pics. and vids. soon which I'll share on this board). :):)

    There were two portugese girls telling me all about it but i think they're not getting home til the 28th or something - still on holiday, so give it a chance.

    Hey I was out there too. I did manage to get Ed to say hello to me in my phone which in all the excitement I deleted straight away, quite gutted. Did you manage to get pics of Ed and the gang that night?

    Oh hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there you are!!! :):) I really needed to find you.. this was a first time for me, and I adore Eddie and the band since I was 12... hense the urgentness...
    you were up close huh?!! :) PM me with your mail and I'll send you what I have so far, I should be getting more tomorrow from my friend who had the camera (and took really bad shaky pics...) I'm no where to be found! as if I wasn't there! but I sure was!!!

    why don't you share the photos with the rest of the forum guys? Upload them somewhere please... There were so many of us who didn't manage to get to this gig and try to live it through your accountings, pics and videos :-)

    I know exactly what you're saying! :) that's why I'm trying desparately to track those guys who took the pictures!!! I am still waiting, but will upload mine as soon as I get them tomorrow.

    Mea culpa mea culpa... I still haven't emailed everybody, but the photos are pretty crappy (ok, i've got 2 good ones), and i was trying to edit them...
    Anyway i promess to send the photos tonight or tomorrow night...

    If you want just to take a look, i only have some (in fact, only 3) in my flickr.. not allowed to make fun of the other ones, though!!! :P

    Blimey. i can't believe how many people were waiting outside the venue 2 hours after the gig! Were you at the front or side door?

    On your video footage, Eddie is wearing the badge i gave him in the bar after the gig. It has a little target and says 'Start'. Look out for it!

    this was the side door, the limo was quite a way from it, and we all got handshakes and close up to them all... they were so nice, I can't wait till next time!
