ISO: Original sleeve for Jeremy 12" pic disc

I recently sold a Jeremy 12" on here as I had received it. The buyer told me that it was missing the original sleeve. I was not aware of that and had provided pictures before the sale. I honestly thought it was just the vinyl and picture insert, all of which came to me in a cardboard sleeve and a plastic sleeve. I gave him a partial refund but would still like to remedy this. If anyone has an extra sleeve or one that they'd be willing to part with, I'd appreciate it.

I have this and the sleeve it's in isn't anything special. Have you asked him why he thinks it's not the original sleeve?

It's not, but the record as I received it had the vinyl and the insert with track info on it. The vinyl was in a cardboard sleeve and that and the insert were in a generic plastic sleeve. I sent him pictures and sent the item exactly as I purchased it. I paid more than he paid me for priority shipping, offered a full refund which he declined, and after the extra shipping plus the partial refund, I got about $15 for the vinyl, and I'm STILL trying to track down a sleeve for him.

I feel like a sucker.

I have this as well, the original sleeve is just a clear plastic sleeve, there's no writing, artwork or anything on it to tie it to the release. It's just one of those clear sleeves that picture discs come in. You can usually find them for about $1-$1.50. I know bagsunlimited has 5 for $6.50. Honestly, for shipping purposes I'd rather have a seller ship in a cardboard sleeve as they're more durable.

I'll echo others' comments - it's just a plastic sleeve. You or the buyer can go to your local record shop and spend less than a dollar to remedy this. Or check bagsunlimited.com and just buy a bunch of them - they'll come in handy in the future.

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I regret issuing the refund, but I won't deal with him again and am not interested in continuing to communicate with him if everyone says the sleeve is nothing special/identifiable.

Lesson learned.
