Yeah I listened to Everclear for the first time in a LONG time the other day, they had some great records. I remember going to the local music shop after school every day and listening to Sparkle And Fade on the listening post/station until I could afford to buy it, ah good times!
Live were another favourite, I'd been put off them by a friend who called them a Pearl Jam rip-off, but I ended up falling out with that friend and took myself off to the record shop and bought Throwing Copper - that cd barely left my stereo for a year, I love it to this day.

Live is a great band, I don't find they sound anything like PJ. Just like some people say Creed sounds like PJ. Idk not every band is going to sound different lol But yea I agree Throwing Copper was an amazing album.
Yea I heard this one. That's allitle bit better. Lol idk they just don't do it for me, I like the instrument part to em, I just don't care for the singer.
(The obvious PJ, SG, AiC, Nirvana, Pumpkins) Pavement Rage Against The Machine Primus NIN Weezer Ween (I was taking a lot of "Chemical assistance" lol) Jane's Addiction (are they 90s? Ritual was 1990)
Are we just listing 90s bands or are they supposed to be good? Cause there's a lot of shit bands being mentioned. How about Wilco, of Montreal, neutral milk hotel, oasis (excluding their post 90s output of course which was rubbish) and radiohead. There were a lot of great ones. Those were my favorites without mentioning pearl jam and nirvana

Well I believe the thread is called "Best of the 90s" so I figured people would put there favorites of the 90s but that Dosnt mean that there the best 90s bands there just the best to those individuals.
