We did, shortly before we got married before the EV show in Memphis. We told our whole story (got to know each other through our love for the band and I moved from Germany to the US to be with my hubs). We never got a response. But it felt good to send it anyway
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

Thanks for sharing.
Did you send it to the Ten Club? How does that work, do you know? Do they forward it on to the band members?
We sent it to the address provided on this website, so yeah, tenclub. I guess they read them and then maybe forward stuff to the band. I have no idea how it goes or what the criteria for it being forwarded to the band are.

I suppose the only way you can send a letter/email is via the Ten Club & if they are ever passed on to the band you will never really know. I have sent a few emails & i have had two replies but there was nothing saying any of the band actually saw them. It was good to get a reply.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of replies did you get? Was it from the Ten Club to say your email had been received or was there more to it than that?
My son and I met Eddie last week in Brisbane so we posted him a thank you letter. It would be awesome if he reads it, but I am sure they get so much fan mail it would be impossible to read it all....but you never know your letter might be picked up by Ed/Stone/Jeff/Matt or Mike and it might be read. So on that hope it's worth sending it in. Good luck :-)
wrote a 2 page letter and sent an official autographed Mookie Blaylock card with the letter as well. Never heard back. Just wrote the letter to thank them for the music. Might write another one soon

I'm guessing you're right. I imagine they still get a ridiculous amount of fan mail. I imagine, too, that it would take more than one life time to read through over 20 years of Pearl Jam fan mail

The joy is in the giving. Not to mention I think it is therapeutic to write it down. They must hear/read 'THANK YOU!" all the time, yet they'll probably never know how much their lives have touched millions of others.
