    WELL SHIT AGAIN...!!!!.. Instead of landing in Brussels about now we are stuck in a hotel in Chicago.. never even got out of my time zone...haha.. So last I posted our flight was delayed 3 hours.. we finally get to Chicago and the connection flight had closed its doors.. Freakin ton of people at Customer service pissed off.... The next flight we could get was 6pm tomorrow..yes I said 6pm!!! WTF??? United Airlines just robbed us an entire day in Amsterdam... but the good news is out flight tomorrow is direct into Schiphol... arriving at 9am-ish. I hope no one else flight problems, but if you have United I wish you the best of luck.

    Damn myoung that BLOWS. I hope they compensated you with hotel, free food, taxi, etc. The American based airlines are no joke. (I flew out of jfk on the Irish airline)

    Aer Lingus? Good stuff, they were set to strike next Monday and Wednesday, luckily they called it off. One time Delta over-sold my connecting flight to Jamaica costing my family one day of vacation. Needless to say, my wife was upset and the airline cut us a check for almost enough to pay for the whole trip. :D

    Aer Lingus? Good stuff, they were set to strike next Monday and Wednesday, luckily they called it off. One time Delta over-sold my connecting flight to Jamaica costing my family one day of vacation. Needless to say, my wife was upset and the airline cut us a check for almost enough to pay for the whole trip. :D

    I was stressing over the strike. I'm flying on the 16th and 18th, the 2 proposed strike days. Big relief when they called it off.

    I'm Lingusin in on Saturday night flight (JFK to Dublin to Schipol). Its only an hour and 15 minute layover so I hope we make it out of JFK in a timely manner.

    PS what the phudge is a rucksack. The internet video for Lingus says no rucksack carry ons. Is a small north face book bag with shoulder strapsa "rucksack"?

    I'll take them if they aren't gone... see higher in thread for request. Traveling today, please PM me and I will return the message when I can.......at least I HOPE were traveling again today, but with United who the hell knows, probably end up in Istanbul or some crap...haha .... (trying to laugh to keep from crying)

    Not sure what a ruck sack is but they weren't really strict about the carry ons when I went. No one was measuring bags or anything.

    Buy day pass from the GVB office at Centraal... good for trams, buses, and metro..

    YES>>>>>>> finally here!!!!! I love this fucking city.... okay been up 30 hours after a 28 hour delay (United Airlines cluster fuck) in Chicago. After a few hours of sleep I might feel human again... haha
