City of Aberdeen unveils statue of Kurt Cobain

I've read this article a few days about a statue of Kurt Cobain being unveiled and I just don't get it. The statue looks weird, especially with the teardrop. What is your opinion on this?

    I think it could have been done in a better way than it has been done now.
    However it is a nice move.
    It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

    The statue isn't my idea of great art but I think the artist genuinely wanted to honor Kurt. It's not like the city commissioned it so I guess it's decent of them to display it.
