I listen to a lot of music and a lot of Pearl Jam, but what else is out there that I haven't heard? What are you listening to that is new? What has recently become your favorite? (you tube links promoted here)

Wind this thing up.

'Mats are great! You might like some of the Westerberg solo stuff and his alter ego, Grandpaboy... or both together on the double CD Stereo/Mono. Two sides of a complex man. I spoke briefly with his guitarist, Kevin Bowe after a show and that's how he described PW, "A complex man." The Grandpaboy EP is great as well- "Psychopharmacology" is a kick and great lyrics.

Check out the Luna Rex thread here in Other Music- you'll find links there to two great songs from their new album "All Kinds of Terrain". Great stuff there! Love it!

Also been listening to a lot of Albert Ayler again lately. I always go back to Ayler. He's not for everyone and a bit challenging at first but once you get there, its great. My favorites are Bells, Spirits Rejoice, Spiritual Unity and New York Eye and Ear Control.
