Answering all the questions about the show/merch/times etc..

Okay..the tour kicked off tonight and I figured I'd help answer some questions I have seen. Please note this is my observation and it was night one..sooo things could change. I was about 8 rows back to Eddies right...
I'll try to do it sans spoilers.
Set time(s) - Liam 730 to about 8:10. Eddie 8:45. He played about 1hr 40. There was the main set, and 2 encores. The second was just one song.
Merch - At least 2 t-shirts one sized all they way up to XXL. 35.00. Tour poster (35) Zippo lighters and a few other things like a patch or stickers? Nothing too crazy. but the Zippos were pretty cool looking. They had a female spagetti strap type shirt as well.
Did People Sit or Stand. - Everyone was up when he walked out..but sat the entire main set. It was nice honestly. Everyone was up for the encores.
Cameras - There were signs saying NO. Before Liam Finn an announcement was made as well. At first if the ushers saw a flash, or the light of a camera phone they'd walk up and tell you to cool it. I did NOT see any cameras getting taken but on security guard yelled to a guy that he had been warned. BUT..come the end cameras were out and there was little they could do.
Was the audience yelling during songs etc - Yes. A lot. Eddie finally made a comment about it 55 minutes in saying he didn't expect the assholes until new york (I swear he said it). Still it didn't stop people. There was a lot of whooping and song requests.
Was Eddie sick - Yes and no. He commented that he was under the weather and on drugs..but his voice was in fine form.
this is a big one.. GET THERE EARLY. Why? They have these cool programs for free..just like the ones at a Broadway show. Its all about the show and is VERY VERY COOL and I saw VERY FEW PEOPLE with them later..ie, they didn't get one and wanted one. They are a very cool keepsake.
Finally, this is for boston 2. The bathrooms are in the basement.as is a second merch booth and bar..keep that in mind as the lobby gets pretty full.
have fun...hope this helps.

Funny comment re: assholes
1. What did the T-shirts look like? Same as the West Coast? (ITW pose)
2. Were there enough posters to go around if people were buying multiples?
1. yes..same.
2. i didn't see any limit on them..and they seemed to have a fair # of them (smaller venue helps perhaps)

WTF is the point of that? I got mediocre seats for NY1 but I still paid about $100 after taxes and such. Same price as everyone else. I better fucking get one!
im happy to report i was lucky enough to get one tonight! honestly it was more chance than anything else. i had mezz seats again but was lucky enough to enter the right side and not the left. that sides usher was a lot more cordial than the goons on the left and gave me one when they led me to my seat. i would say going early during liam's set would improve your chances as well, good luck!
From what I've read here, it seems to vary from venue to venue.
Thanks!
in boston it was 8:45.
