Sources close to the Manchester Times have recieved confirmation that The Police, Bob Dylan, and Pearl Jam have been confirmed to headline the 2007 Bonnaroo Music Festival. The lineup also includes Tom Waits, Willie Nelson, Umphrey's McGee, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, The Black Crowes, Ryan Adams, My Morning Jacket, Arcade Fire, Keller Williams Band, Hot Chip, America, TV on the Radio, Fountains of Wayne, Modest Mouse, Les Claypool, The Shins, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Toots and the Maytals, The Roots, The Decemberists, Of Montreal, Cat Power, Ozomatli, Perpetual Groove, Band of Horses, John Butler Trio, Nickel Creek, Medeski Martin and Wood, Lily Allen, Neko Case, Keiren Hedben (Four Tet) & Steve Reid, The Hold Steady, Earl Scuggs, Charlie Louvin, Man Man, Grizzly Bear, Konono #1, The Slip, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Uncle Earl, Annuals, Beirut, M. Ward, Cold War Kids, and Girl Talk. Superfly Productions plans to officially announce the lineup on January 31st.

just checked on that, sting was in greece in june of 2006, there is nothing listed for june of 2007

Yeah I checked I just didn't look at the year.:eek: Anyway Sting is touring through March and I don't know if that is enough time for the rehearsals needed to be ready be June. Then again I don't care. If they tour I will be there!:D

yeah, bonnaroo is june 14th-17th, and the most factual part of that "leak" is the announcement date of january 31st, superfly has commented that the announcement would be be at the end of january (hopefully), and this follows the schedule with previous years... so we will know for sure soon enough

ya and rumours have Pearl Jam in Europe at that time. So one rumour is for sure wrong and there is probably a greater chance that all these rumours are wrong.

Some less than reputable ticket sites are selling tickets for a Police show at Wembley Stadium on 21st July........make of that what you will.

Same sites are also selling tickets for Aerosmith in Paris in June which does link in with other rumours elsewhere.

No mention of Pearl Jam anywhere though.

i'm planning on going, pearl jam or not. a guy i work with went last year and he said everyone was really chill. they always have quality artists. i already scheduled a vacation for june 13-18.

They could do both. If they are playing ON the 13th in Poland, then they could head to the States and get there easily by the 14th or 15th. Bonnaroo has three headlining spots. One on the 15th, another on the 16th and the last one on the 17th. They would have ample time if they play later on the weekend....they don't have to be there for the whole damn festival, just for when they are slotted to play.

Might happen, might not...just remarking that it is possible.
