so I love vinyl, I have managed to collect about every pj vinyl out there, yeah I'm missing a view things, but I'm not rich! what's up with the sevens 45's. were they a ten club only thing? how much did it sell for originally? how quick did it sell out? thanks pj people.

    Oh boy...

    Let me give you the short of it:

    -Announced in a newsletter that went out on Sunday morning, sold out in about 3 hours and left a lot of people mad who didn't get the newsletter in time cause they were out, or sleeping on the other side of the world.

    -Sold for about $50 US I think. I can't remember exactly cause I just remember it was $80 to ship to Canada

    -No one knows, at least I don't, how many were made.

    -Only sold through 10C even though there was a mistake and a bunch of retailers thought they could sell it like Amazon.

    Seems like a fairly desirable set.

    Not much of a back story. It showed up one day, and was gone the next. Pretty short run from all the speculation. Anywhere from 500-1000. But no one really knows for sure as far as I can tell.

    A big pitty PJ do not give all there fans a chance of getting this on vinyl at a good price,and not being ripped off by others on Ebay later on with stuped prices.Thought that they where against this sort of thing.Also why only do a limited number of them as well ?.

    Well, just remember to check the shop at 10AM PST on the 10th of the month and you will probably catch most of these kinds of sales. That's pretty easy.

    The thing that sucks is that the 12" lp 1st pressing was defective. I got a second pressing from a record store and it's filled with noise as well. Apparently, the 45s are the only audiophile way to enjoy this record and those went to like 1% of us.

    What I remember is a bunch of people bitching about it being a "cash grab" @ $55 for something they already had in the full album on vinyl with nothing new added like B-sides. Then it sold out and someone got $400 for a set on ebay and everyone went crazy.
