Yeah but who is leaving feedback, how do we confirm deals are legit. Ebay at least has a way to prove things. I can say my buddy john sold me a print he's A+ and not even know the guy.
Yeah trying to manage auctions is not something I picture doing. It would be more of a hook up but self policed kind of place. I would not want actions, and it would be great to get people not looking to just flip things. I know its impossible to police that but.....
I am hoping to secure some db help this week, if that happens we could probably get a small beta run going in a couple weeks. I have to work some magic as no one likes working for free so I need to sweet talk a few people
Well raising this thread from the dead. I have a guy I work with that is looking to work on some projects for experience to add to his resume, so we are thinking of getting this site built. Might have some kind of demo up in the next couple weeks, if I do would be cool to get some feedback to see if there is an interest in something like this. Please see first post for description of what i am looking to do. Would probably start with just PJ posters and if it went well, expand.
Any plans for adding price information similar to ebeans?
What I would like to see is price data for eBay auctions that DID NOT sell. That's important. But I have no idea how you would work that into a price evaluation.
All the time I see auctions for, let's say, $50 end with no sale then someone will try to sell one for $75. When obviously the market does not demand that price. But the averages don't go down because non-sales aren't considered in the data. It would be nice to be able to have that historical data for reference.

the issue i think with ebeans is the price is all encompassing so those averages are not really accurate. They include the pricing for APs as well as Scratch & Dent into one place - which is a little maddening.
Cool, I am going to spend some time on this tomorrow and we will probably do some coding this week. Will update everyone when we have something new to show.
