Love Is Hell reissue

So Ryan Adams - Love Is Hell is getting a mofi triple lp boxset reissue this week. Im sure since Mofi are making this it will sound great and better than the original press but it does seem a bit rubbish that rather than making an affordable release (original was fetching over $100 for a while) this reissue is a limited and expensive version. Anyone that has been reluctant to spend big on the original is surely going to be disappointed at the price for it first reissue no matter how superior the sound might be.

Eh, you are gonna get quality with MoFi. The original press doesn't sound that great. Plus you are getting a bonus LP of material.

You missed my point completely. I already said it will sound good as it is Mofi. Im just saying its a shame there cant be a more regular release that is still good quality and affordable. Im sure quite a few dont have the original in their collections because they have been waiting to pay a sensible price for the record only to discover the first reissue will set them back $65 or around £60 imported. This is one for the collectors for sure.

Better than a LH reissue b
ut more for collectors with the extra material and the lure of better sound. A nice double LP at $35 would have been good as well. Keen to see the packaging on this box.
