Whoa! I was a bit worried that all of Brian's praise was building my expectations up a bit too high but alas, this album is brilliant! After one listen my favorite tracks are Gojira, Travels from a VW Bus, and Ride it to Land. I hear a lot of REM, PJ, MMJ, & Pink Floyd influences in this album. So very good Mr. Pistachio. This will be in very heavy rotation this summer and you better believe I'm going to turn my music loving friends onto this very talented group of musicians. Wish you had some more youtube vids! Again, congrats on a masterpiece. Remember us old forum pals when you hit it big

So true and well said, he.who.forgets! Glad you like it as well. :-) If this had come out on vinyl I guarantee I'd wear my copy out! I bought some of these for friends here out on the west coast (thank you, Jonny!) and am getting a lot of smiles and thumbs up! Golunarex!

Those songs sound great, looking forward to hearing the rest!
Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
Guys, thanks so much! Jamie, thank you for those comparisons I'm glad you like it! made my day!
Brian, perhaps we get some sales at our second album release party - its this friday - and maybe we'll be a little closer to that dream of vinyl vinyl vinly!
TheseGoToEleven, thanks! I'll PM you about getting a copy if you're interested.
First off thanks for the cd and book, JohnnyPistachio. Still reading the book but listening to the cd now. Real good.
"Travels From A V.W. Bus" stood out the most to me. Also liked Gojira The Stalker. Run Like Hell was a good cover I thought.

I was feeling rather stressed out today as I had to make my second trek in as many days down to Nicholson's in Folsom for some work on my little LX1 Little Martin (it was like taking my only child to the doctor, I kid you not!). So coming and going, I had the Luna Rex All Kinds of Terrain CD playing and oh, was that a life saver. I hadn't heard it in a while and was knocked out all over again! So good! If you're not familiar, check out Jon's videos on page one of this thread. SO COOL!

To bend a Paul Westerberg line a little, "I never travel too far/ without a little Luna Rex in the car". :-)
