i'm not sure that your member # is always indicative of your joining date. Heard too many stories on the red mosquito about guys getting screwed out of numbers on their renewals or address change. Plus i have also heard of people posting their joining date after mine (before '03 tour can't remember exactly when) and still having better number than me. I'm just glad ten club has changed seating format to seniority. No more waiting in line is really nice

I'm in my 30's now.....waiting in line is just no fun anymore!!

    I'm 111XXX, I joined in 1996. Last 3 10C shows I've gone too, I've been 3rd, 5th and 6th row.

I'm 159xxx and joined in 1996 as well. I think 96 was a big year for people joining. It's the year I was fully converted! I usally get in the 10-19 range. No complaints at all from the seats 10C has given me over the years.

I'm 304xxx. I joined July '03. However, I let it lapse for a while and then re-upped April '05. I just had to re-new it. I have no clue what my number was before I let it lapse.

You got your old number back. I joined in Sept. '03 and mine's 313xxx.

Sorry man, but no chance of that. I'm 198xxx and will typically get row 20 - 25 for floor seats. With wing seats at certain events, you'll get much closer though.

I think you are right about 1996, but I do believe it was the first year the 10C did the seniority ticket thing? I have no idea how I kept up my membership throughout the years. There was those years where the band didn't tour, didn't put anything new out, and people just forgot about them. I was lucky to have "RENEW MEMBERSHIP" in my personal planner every year. It's paying off now.

I am 200xxx and would love to even get 20-25, however i am afraid that damn petty fans are going to screw this up. should i be expecting 50+ or wing rows?

Very dissapointed, I really like Tom Petty, but not enough that i am willing to give up ~15th row!!

Any ideas what % of fans actually sign onto touring fans? For example.. 50th sign up on touring fans usually equals 150th priority (assuming 1/3 10c member signs up)

Remember people, it all depends on which shows you go to. If you go to a show with a bunch of fan club memebers, yeah you are going to be farther back. But I've been 5th row and 7th row with my # of 191XXX. And I joined.....December '99 I do believe.

that's nuts you got so close, I would like to think my 241XXX is kind of close to you as I joined late 2000 I think and the closest I've been was 8th row in edmonton and 11th in clagary. I hope I get decent seats in minnesota since I will be driving for like 20 hours to get there.

I'm 340 but since I've only used my membership for the Astoria and Dublin shows it doesn't matter as they're both GA.
The Astoria show made it worth it alone! Joined in January 2005, so had 2 year's worth of membership (~£25 in total) and got 2 free tickets to a tiny show that sold out in nanoseconds. Bargain.
