So here I be, in my late 30's, having eagerly devoured every album PJ has released for 15 years, too busy gettting through grad school to see them in the 90's, had tickets for MSG 98 (yeah, the Breath show) that fell through on the day of the show (thereby being too late for my backup plan to work), and in 2000 and 2003 BOTH times PJ was anywhere near here were when my 2 kids were due to be born (literally that week). Joined the 10C in 2000 but not for tix, just to buy all the bootlegs, of which I now have about 40.

And so finally next Thursday I get to see them in 10C seats.

I know that makes me a total newb. But really, its awesome. I couldn't give a rat's ass what they play, because so far I've seen them play nothing. Any song they play, I will go beserk for because I love them all.

Any of you guys who have seen them a ton - and having been a huge Dead and Phish fan I know how this feels - when you're thinking you wanna bail to go relieve your bladder during Even Flow or bumming that there aren't enough rarities in the set, just think of me and the rest of us who are seeing the boys for the first time and how much we're loving life.

Cheers everyone, enjoy the shows and be safe!!!

I still remember Ottawa. I was just a casual fan. Things changed awfly quickly.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
