I created a photobucket account and wish to post a picture to test my ability to use the site to upload photos. I have no clue what I'm doing.

With any luck, a cool photo of some bald eagles will manifest itself and I will have figured this out. Excuse me while I play.

* And feel free to add a photo yourself if so inclined.

  • Can anyone tell me how I would just get the image to appear?

When you want to post, click on the icon that looks like a tv or computer monitor. It's in the row above where you're posting, along with B, I, U, S, etc. You'll get a little pop up box that tells you to paste the image's URL. Your pic will appear in the post.

    Not like you're the first.

Where are you taking these pictures? I started getting into birds, especially raptors, a couple of years ago but I'm no good at photography.

These were shots taken in the interior of British Columbia by a river. Here's one of the black eagle chowing down on a crow:

  • Happy to help. This new board is wacko.

Believe it or not, we actually get a few bald eagles here in north Texas altho they aren't very common. Last year I saw one for the first time in my life. So cool.

Wow...the eagle and crow photo - powerful in proportion and those little feet.

    Nice job, Mr. Bills!

    Haha!

I had an 18 pound tabby like the one on the right when I was in high school.

Odie. The cat was a tank... and so cool! Loved it.

Nice park to have by your house. Looks like a great spot to 'get away'.

Good picture too. Bird looks as if he isn't even aware of you.

    My backyard visitors.

One of these behemoths attacked my dad a long time ago. He got lucky- they're deadly.
