le plus mauvais français jamais entendu! don't know what you were trying for there but you've lost me..
Wembley stadium: absolutely not!! yuk!
Arena on the other hand
Brixton Academy is too small..they'd need to do 10 dates....actually putting it that way
moi francais est mal???
zut alors!!! moi au insultement... j' rendevouz a la gare pour le boxing au tete
i make it easy for you mr roast beef... london make me spill porridge in fun times, ok my english taste like bad, but i would never kill a stolen monkey... you Roast Beefs make my mouth laugh...
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

vu que ton anglais n'a pas plus de sens que ton français, je pense que je manque quelque chose..c'est une référence à quoi?
or
I haven't got a clue what you're referring to in either language.. the cultural reference is missing for me there...sorry..

never been but I hear it's the same size as the Astoria..
No man. Brixton's much bigger. It's about 3 times as big, and it has better acoustics and a great atmosphere. It beats Wembley Arena hands down. Last time I was at The Academy was last x-mas to see The Pogues and it's still retained it's good qualities despite Carling attempting to turn it into a Carling Commercial wank fest as they've done with so many other venues in London - The Town and Country Club and the Hammersmith Odeon for example.
Can't really see Pearl Jam playing at Wembley Stadium. Doesn't it hold 80,000 of something?
I know PJ are bigger in the UK right now than they ever have been before but there's only a handful of bands who can fill Wembley Stadium, and like someone else said, gigs on this scale rely on the occasion fan coming along and I don't think there are too many of those in the UK for PJ. Apart from maybe 4 people, nobody i work with has even heard of Pearl Jam, let alone could name a song by them.
I can see PJ playing some smaller outdoor shows in the UK. Once a band has headlined the final night at Reading, they're usually past the a typical arena tour. I can see PJ playing something like a castle tour: Stirling or Edinburgh, Cardiff and......some other places that have castles......show's with a 20 to 30,000 capacity
A democracy on paper, apparently well ordered, regularly subverted by irrational chaos.

no I meant Koko's about the same size as the Astoria.. I know Brixton (even lived there for 2 weeks!)
UK tour...yes. I'm applying for a job at the MEN in Manchester anyway, maybe I can work the night PJ play...mmmm, free entry and knowledge of how to get backstage*drools*.
OK, maybe planning waaay too far in advance (don't even have the job yet). A girl can dream.

the Scots and the French finding common ground:
hate of the English
I love the English (and the Scots too mind you)..suppose that's why I don't feel French despite being born and bred...and got the fuck out ASAP!
How bout an Irish tour? It'd be funny to see them try come up with good venues other than the Point.Marlay Park or Punchestown would be amazing.Or if they're feeling ambituous,Croke Park or Landsdowne Road.I think the Uk definitely deserves a tour though.
It may be the devil or it may be the Lord
But you're gonna have to serve somebody.

They could definitely do Brixton.. do three nights like in SF this year. That'd be beyond amazing. Otherwise, I'd settle for them playing Koko ;-)
