  • hey folks, will also be coming for pre-show drinks on the Monday as I am getting into London too late on Sunday to join the party. I got plenty of front row action on the Euro tour last year in Prague, Berlin and particularly Zagreb - getting Ed's sweat tossed onto my face as he delivered a tambourine to some Austrian bastard (no offence to Austrians, just jealous!) next to me on the front row.
Also having missed out on Astoria would like to meet some fellow countrymen/jammers.

Any Irish folks planning on coming - my Irish girlfriend will be joining me and is bugging me to ask...
  • OK - just realized the Irish question must sound pretty stupid since "Irishjam" has posted the previous two messages.

    oops!

    queuing freaks ;)

glad to hear so many folks are going to be coming along :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I think we'll be looking for somewhere to kill a few hours before the show.

Had contemplated getting to Wembley, picking up tickets then heading back into central London for a bit and back to the hotel for a shower before the show but having just spent a week in our capital paying extortionate tube fares to sweat inside a steel can for half an hour, we've kind of abandoned that idea.

Probably head up and collect tickets mid-afternoon now I think, and then it'll be time for a couple of tankards of finest mead.....yarr:)

i have standing tickets, but i can't be fucked to queue all day only to get squished and not be able to see a thing.

i will also be where the drinks are.

    Me too!!!!
I can never see anything, just get stamped on and squashed by everyone around me - see you at the pub! :D
