Virgin Store downtown Chicago 2003. Rows & rows of PJ vinyl. If I weren't a poor grad student at the time, I would have walked out of there with everything & then get these back to you guys at cost.

I also was a poor grad student in Chicago at that time and I remember all that vinyl there! I'm fortunate I decided to put some vinyl on my credit cards to complete my collection ... I just wish I had the foresight to buy multiples.

To be fair there was no way any of us could of predicted that vinyl would resurge in popularity. Had I known I would of bought tonnes of extra copies which I could now use to barte (or sell) to get revenue to buy some of the really rare PJ collectables I don't have.. lol.

It is odd that 10 to 15 years ago PJ vinyl wasn't that difficult to obtain, but now anything no code and newer is in pretty short supply.

I wished I'd known at the time they PJ records were imited runs, instead of thinking I could just buy them down the line any time.

And thus the reason why everyone goes ape-$hit over new merch.

On topic, OP, keep your eyes peeled here and elsewhere (I check Lost Dogs daily, even though I don't have the money right now. :/ ). Do they have any record stores near you? There are always good finds in most record stores, if you're willing to dig. Sometimes, if you get to know the guys who work there, they will keep an eye out for the records you're after, too.
