    I made to dinner on Sunday night. We ate out and I had 2 Sierra Ruthless Rye's. It's a start. Maybe I'll try again this weekend. It's much easier when nothing is going on.

    we had people over to the house to play board games saturday night...

    10-12 people showed up...

    next morning I did a bottle count - 8 bottles of wine, a polished off bottle of blended whiskey, a bottle of bourbon, and an almost finished bottle of scotch... and there were 2 people there not drinking....

    and then QOTSA last night here in a houston... had a couple of beers at the show...

    i think next weekend this week is going to be a booze free week until friday.
    Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

    When I was a spry young pup of 24 I decided I would go a whole year of not drinking during the week. This was in the post college days where the first thing I did when I got home from work was pour a big daddy Captain & Coke.
    It was actually tough, a life changer, and in the 15 years since I pretty much restrict it to weekends.
    I usually get shitbombed Friday nights. Saturday might be a few drinks but Friday is bombed night.
    With my wife prego I will need to stop once we get close to baby time since I want to be able to drive her to the hospital no matter when and be ready for the baby and for anything she needs.
    It also has been considerably less fun with my wife being pregnant since I dont have my usual partner in crime.

    I sure did! We had a 1/2 barrel of Bell's Two Hearted Ale…my favorite IPA. Sooooo delicious!

    I just got over going from January 5th till February 6th without a drop. Definitely started to get tough at the end there...

    Didn't have a drop this past weekend. Always nice to take a week or 2 off every few months. I'll get back at it this weekend.
