  • I'm pretty sure Bruce won't make you wait more than two months to get the bootleg for the shows you attend (I'm still waiting to buy the two L.A. shows from late November)...Bruce and Eddie are friends, I know Bruce has been kind of a mentor to Ed...he should give him some advice on how to issue live shows in a professional manner!

You do know that it has not been this way in the past don't you? This Nugs bashing is getting old. People just jumping on the bandwagon without thinking.

Because Eddie and Bruce are the ones controlling the way bootlegs are distributed, yeah right. I wouldn't be surprised if their involvement in minimal, if at all.

Glad Bruce is finally releasing his shows though!

You do realize that Pearl Jam has released around 400 bootlegs compared to 3 that Bruce has released ;)

And the Bruce fans are complaining about those bootlegs too. People just like to complain.

    How is the sound?

    How is the sound?

The sound is good. I wouldn't say great but it's also their first shot. I'm not a crazy audiophile so I don't pick up on all the little nuances. I don't think the mix is a good as the last few round of PJ boots.

Bruce at times gets a little drowned out. That could also be because of how he sings and the enormity of the band.

Overall it's good to have a quality boot from the boss

4 shows have been released so far. Cape Town 1, 2, and 3, and Johannesburg. I bought Cape Town 3 last night and it sounds pretty good. The sound for Johannesburg is supposed to be a lot better based on what people on the Bruce boards have been saying. It seems like the sound for each bootleg is getting better so maybe they are learning as they go along. They are getting them out pretty soon after the shows. I would say you can't go wrong with Cape Town 3 or Johannesburg sound-wise based on what has been released so far. Check out the setlists and see which one you like the most. I may get Johannesburg as well once I've finished with Cape Town 3.

I am searching for the Frankfurt 2012 bootleg as a gift for a friend who was there. Is it correct that you can only order bootlegs from 2014 now ? Can someone please help me?
    Thanx
  • Man the 2005 D&D show just released is incredible quality. Wish we would have Ed boots with this treatment.
