Boots, I love boots. I am wearing some Dr. Marten Fynn's right now. They firstly remind me of a great time for music, and a strange in-between time as a pre-ad, teenanger. The one's on my feet right now I am grateful to have because they are comfortable, and keep my feet warm, remind me to stand on my own two feet, and enjoy the present moment. What kind of boots do you love the most? Post me an answer or a picture. I'll pick one response at 4:30pm CST today Wednesday 1/29/14 and we'll go from there.

  • My Red Wings. American made. Custom arch supports. Comfy as all hell when you're out in the field. My hoofs need speacial attention and these are great. I used to do Timberlands but they just weren't cutting it.

I've welded, torched, done concrete, sand snow and water with these boots.

It's my third pair and they are wonderful.

Thanks for the opportunity and I remember the term "Doc Marten Dental Plan" from back in the day...

I don't have time at the moment to post a pic, but the boots I love the best are Pearl Jam boots. Especially of the shows I've been to! lol.
It's amazing what you hear when you take time to listen.

I love my Timberland boots with the polyurethane outer sole that holds up to the vegetable oil and biodiesel that I sometimes walk on through the course of my job.

Timberland Pro steel-toe. I work outside in Ohio and it's been cold. Picked them up on Monday and it's made all the difference. The best part is they were free.
    Things were different then

I have to go with my Sorel water proof winter boots. As a person who likes to go out with my camera to capture the Ontario winter wonderland, these things are a life saver. Honestly, these boots make ALL the difference in the winter, making what could be a miserable 5 cold and dark months, into an amazing time go and capture the quiet streets and snow covered trees. Cheers!

Early 20s me wore Doc Martens. Loved them. Now they are my snow boots.

Late 30's me wears his black Sketcher's. Nice and comfy (and cheaper ;) )

Those new Converse boots that look like Chuck Taylor's. Don't know how to post a picture on here, but for us up here in the Great White North (and I'm not talking about Atlanta) I like being able to wear Chucks without my feet freezing off.

Agreed! Are these boots to walk around in or do you walk like you pooped yourself because they are actually snowboard boots?

And thank you, jlaustin image I hope your're having warm feet in this frozen hell!

Yep, Justin Hampton and Jermaine Rogers :) I met my then future husband on here, but first in person, and somehow surprisingly as well, at the preparty for PJ20. I moved from Germany to the United States to be with him. It's quite a story indeed hahaha... But I don't really want to draw any attention to myself. I just love to "take the boots out" every now and then ;) PJ is good at bringing people together, lots of magic is happening outside this forum in the real world! But the forum somehow, sometimes, makes it happen :)

I used to were docs all the time about 20 years ago but switch to red wings for my line on work. But they have wore out And for Christmas my girl said she'd buy me any pair I wanted and looking at redwing them going to boot country where all MHz ffiends wear them Justin's I couldn't find a pair that was me. But as I kept looking I found a small selection of new Doc Martins! They are their Industrial boot, steel toe along with waterproof and the soles are every resistant as the old ones. Just steel toe which I must have at work and the price was $130.00 . Even though with my girl buying them price wasn't an issue. They didn't need broke in or anything ! So I'm rocking the docs!
Anyone looking for a good paid out boot that looks good with jeans you can't go wrong with the industrial pair. I love them! Good luck to everyone!
