Clean slate
We’re all safe
No more dead end street
No more tired feet

No more circling back for company!
Love is left half-way between you & me

(Forever paused)

Love’s body frozen mid-step.
A prehistoric mountaineer captured
left beneath an ancient avalanche

    this is good stuff here. nice job. i can totally relate to this. unfortunately....

    there is someone in my life where the love is left halfway in between us. i want it more, but she doesn't. so it is just lying there on the groud unclaimed. right where i left it for her.

    I sometimes wonder why the sad pieces I write seem to resonate with more people than my uplifting pieces.
