(Just curious) ... for those who did, what was the best show?

i saw 3 ... MSG 1 .. Hartford .. Mansfield 2

all 3 were AMAZING and look like they are all in the top 5 of the tour ..

the best was definitely Hartford, and by looks, it seems like the best of the tour ..

so I am curious what those of you who saw every show think ..

    kudos to you ...

Well, we know Zack form spin saw all the shows ...

I went to 4 ... and I was so freakin' spent ... so much so, I'm heading to Mexico tomorrow for a vacation from my vacation ... :D

Personally (and don't gimme and shit, these are my feelings), they rank:

    Mansfield 2, MSG 1, MSG 2, Mansfield 1

But all of them kicked ass in their own way. Met lots of cool people at each as well! (Even in NYC! ;) )

I saw them 4 times... every time it just got better. Even though I would rate Hartford as the number 1 - Mansfield one was perfect also, I sang my lungs out that night. :) Both MSGs were unforgettable experiences, so powerful, so full of mystical energy. Fuck it... all four I saw were amazing - - fucking beautiful. I will never forget those experiences. I hope I get to see them soon again.. somewhere, someday. :)

I love to reading upbeat posts like this. I get tired of the whiners and complainers.

I went to five shows. If I had to rank them, it would look like:

    Hartford
    MSG I
    MSG II
    Mansfield II
    Mansfield I

Again, JUST AN OPINION, doesn't mean it is right or wrong, it's JUST AN OPINION.

Of the 8 shows I hit, I'd rank them something like this:

    1. Hartford
    2. Tampa (I had awesome seats, and great energy)
    3. MSG I
    4. MSG II
    5. D.C.
    6. WPB
    7. Mansfield II
    8. Mansfield I

I think Tampa also ranked so high because it was the 1st leg of the tour me. While the "Rhode Island" shows were good, they both left me wanting more, especially night I.

I only saw 2, but hey, I am from Minny and can only take so many days off work.

I loved West Palm because Oceans and Faithfull were 2 songs i hadn't seen before and was just praying i would get. Being outside was also very cool and i had some great people around us. 2 of my friends were on the other side of the venue so that stunk a bit, but my buddy and i had a blast with the people around us.

Tampa was maybe a better all around set-list, but we were back indoors. Our seats were much better in Tampa so that was cool and the couple we partied with the night before were kind enough to switch seats with us so we could watch the show with our friends(only 1 row difference, but it was a really nice gesture by them). Present Tense was incredible that night as it's my #1 song to hear live.

Really hard to pick what show was better since the people around us made such a difference night 1 and it was outside. Shows really do come down to who is around you and what type of fans are jamming with you.

Some super-fan freak at Lolla completely ruined my night by headbanging his 6'3'' frame and poofy hair all night. The guy almost smashed into my face on every song from Ten, VS, and Vitalogy. Thank goodness he didn't know any of the newer stuff. He just about broke my toes from stepping on me probably 20 times that night. I kept praying for new songs, since he just sat motionelss for anything he didn't know. Sad to say that was a major reason we decided to pass on Bonnaroo...well that and the cost of missing more work and teh rental car and flights.

Anyways, just had to get that off my chest!!

I'll say better overall show at Tampa, but i had a better time at West Palm with the crew we sat with. So thanks to the nice couple who gave us cigars after that show and swithced seats with my friends night 2 in Tampa, thanks to the sweet Canadiens from Calgary, the cool guy and his gal behind us tripping out when we kept getting rare tunes night 1 and also the Michigan hockey player and his friends in front of us. Great time guys.

    I'll go with West Palm.

You lucky people that hit up alot more shows on the east coast. I envy you. Come on back to middle America PJ! We will be waiting!

Highlights each night Faithfull night 1 and Present Tense night 2. So freaking awesome!!!
