So far not as bad as I thigh it might be. Dug the daft punk, Stevie wonder, pharrell Williams performance. Metallica and Lang Lang was cool. Lorde has a great voice.
Interested in seeing what nin, qotsa, Dave growl and Lindsey buckingham do.

I watched ... That's an evening I won't get back, lol
Agree. Boring. Watching it on the west coast, watched a little of the east coast feed. Just saw Keith Urban/Gary Clark, Jr. and I thought that was pretty cool.
I know the one song is pretty good but I can't get over dopes dressed as robots winning multiple awards. welcome to music in 2014 folks.
Lorde looks like the oldest teenager I've ever seen.
I like the fact that they pretty much cruise past the actual awards and it's mostly performances. good and bad I still rather see performances.
a few of the performances were pretty good. I liked: Keith Urban/Gary Clark Jr. was pretty good although would have liked to have played some of a Gary Clark Jr. song. Chicago and Robin Thicke I enjoyed but I dig horns and dig those Chicago songs. Taylor Swift I actually thought rocked it although I didn't fully get the head bobs. that was kind of over the top. Ringo singing photograph was surprisingly decent. Kacey Musgraves(?) was pretty decent. kind of a funny/happy kind of song. not really a country fan but thought it was at least entertaining.
for the bad.
If I get McCartney and Ringo back on stage I want a Beatles hit played..
beyonce - shaking your butt doesn't make for good music. that was pretty dreadful. I thought Jay-Z even looked a little disinterested in being out there.
macklemore and ryan lewis - 1st off not a fan of rap so right off the bat I'm out with it. Madonna is an absolute train wreck and frankly thought the whole marriage business was hacky and taking advantage of an important issue for their own (The Grammy's) self-serving purposes.
