Hi. How are you? I live in Korea and I'm about as close to seeing Pearl Jam as I am to fucking my sister and I don't even have a sister so there ya go. I have enjoyed following the setlists over the past couple of weeks but have been weirded out by some of the complaining, especially when I actually get to hear the shows in bootleg form. This band sounds awesome. The shows are great. Even the fucking intro music sounds cool. You are all very lucky to see them (those that did.) "Oh my god, they played WMA twice in a row. All Night was played two nights ago. They opened with Hard to Imagine four times blah blah blah blah..." Fuck me. Off the top of my head I can think of no other popular rock band that can play it's entire catalog and then some so well. Oh..but I had a question. There is a dude called Chris who has a thread about epic shows. HE has MTV unplugged on there. He says it doesn't have Garden and Leash which were the encores. Is this true? They played Garden and Leash as Encores at MTV unplugged? How come I never new this?

    Not according to fivehorizons:

03/16/92 - Kaufman Astoria Studios: Queens, NY (MTV Unplugged) (acoustic)
soundcheck: Oceans, State of Love and Trust, Alive, Black, Jeremy, Porch

set [aired version, 30 min]: Even Flow, Jeremy, Alive, Black, State of Love and Trust, Porch

set [complete, 51 minute set]: Oceans, State of Love and Trust, Alive, Black, Jeremy, Porch, Even Flow, Rockin' in the Free World

notes: In a riveting performance, PJ shows the world that their talent is tremendous and the songs solid, despite the lack of electric guitars (and using rented equipment). 'Oceans' and 'RitFW' were recorded, but never aired. Mike plays quite a lot of 'Angie' after 'State of Love and Trust' (during a break) and later, riffs from Deep Purple's 'Smoke on the Water' prior to 'RitFW.' (The PJ Unplugged was originally aired on 5/13/92.)
I smile, but who am I kidding...
