    Yeah, there is no way to justify spending that much on a record. Even if I was rich. It saddens me. Everybody should be able to enjoy this awesome recording on their preferred medium.

    If you collect and hold to sell later how is it flipping? I thought flipping was selling something immediately after obtaining it for a profit?
    If you collect and hold something unsealed it is for one reason and that is to see if value will increase.

    Having a decade old benny unsealed in your possession is a flipped benny.

    There are lots of people who have one and play it. Why are people doubting that they are out there? Well and in the end, everybody can do what they want with their possessions. Some get happy by knowing that they have it and want to keep it pristine, others get it to sell it for profit and others have a piggy bank they put money in and hope that a cheaper one comes up one day and then just jump on it and enjoy spinning it for the rest of their life.
    My experience is that when you get your hands on a higher valued LP, it just feels like that big big untouchable thing as long as you don't open it. Once you made the decision to give it a spin it becomes a normal used album. Valued for its musical value, not for the price.

    Yes you did post a pic of your benny to me (and everyone) - that's awesome.

    You are person number one with a pic. We have 2000 to go. The only way I can surmise to bring down the price is to find out who the select "few" that have a sealed dusty benny under their bed.

    Don't humour him! He kind of just called you a liar! We know you're not. ;) And i guess i'm dumb and stupid too, because i would spend that on one if i had the money and play it the second i got it home. Unfortunately, I can't afford one now or anytime soon. :(
