Woah.... You might see Pearl Jam in the future, but you will not see better concert than that... Amazing...

Ed with tears in his eyes with the crowd singing betterman... Fuck yeah!

  • That version of Betterman was simply amazing, I can not express how good it was. Anyone who was not at this show you have to get a bootleg of this just for that one song. I was really happy with the response that Sydney gave to the boys tonight. Being a Sydney local I've seen a lot of shows here and Sydney does not always have the best crowds. Tonight Sydney was phenomenal. Well done Sydney.
  • Was Throw Your Arms Around Me a full-band version? Would seem odd (though not unheard of) for Ed to get a solo spot mid-set...

We'll have to say thanks to one Mark Richards for the awesome set list tonight. He helped PJ come up with it. He was sitting off to the side of the stage with his family, singing every note of every song. It was so cute watching his little girl taking video of the show with a smartphone.

Amazing show. So glad I got in early to have a spot on the rail to witness this great show.
  • Ed solo for Throw your arms

Just got home a few minutes ago :) ...the guys were all in good spirits and the setlist was incredible!

I was on Stone's side with only 2 people in front of me to the rail, so I had a great view. The sound quality was pretty inconsistent, but it improved a bit in the set.

I was on that same side too, plenty of room, people respected each others space more or less, only a few people back, I think Ed visited that side more than the other during the set.

So many songs had unbelievable versions I hadn't heard before at other shows. When I saw the time table, I had a feeling they would go over time and they didn't disappoint turning in probably the best show of the BDO's so far based on other reports.

Really bummed now I missed out on the EV shows, but so fortunate I was able to meet him for the first time when he dropped in to the Mudhoney set during the day.
