Toss me a penny,And all I receive
Is a broken reflection,
Of the little girl,Me.

Can't count the wishes,
Lost in the well,
Those shooting star's,
And pot of gold stare's

Water and wishe's
Again and again,
Shattered and broken,
Before I was ten.

Please bring me happiness,
Said to myself,
As another penny,
Flicker's to the bottom.

Caught between what is,
And what would never be,
Is a little girl lost,
The little girl,Me.
