Ok, so we've all heard read and said what we think about the new forum format and the majority of us are not thrilled. But is that a reason to kill the vibe here? I think not. The band, the folks who made this site happen and the paying members here are all pretty much good and wonderful and awesome. But the vibe here has taken a hit. This was pointed out to me by PJ_Soul and others have mentioned this as well. There are plenty of places to air grievances- nothing wrong with that- but maybe this is a good time and place to amp up the good vibe again. So here's a place to say something positive about the forum. I'm glad it's still here and I'm glad I'm still here. image

    I'm thankful for people like MikeD88 who are smart enough to write scripts that make this place eye friendly again :D

    I hope we can get the vibe back. During the last couple of weeks, I have noticed that I really prefer this platform for the PJ part of my life to facebook. Because not everybody can just jump on everything, it feels a little bit more civilized in some kind of way.

    I really hope they keep on improving the site so people come back. It has felt pretty dead. Though I'm getting used to the new format, I still dont feel as inclined to meander through random threads lie I used to, and I cant quite figure out if its the atmosphere, the layout, or the lack of posters.

    The new format is feeling more and more familiar to me and that's a good thing. I still enjoy reading threads as long as I stay out of the ones I know are going negative. I love the new polls and the discussions that come from them. We need to get back to talking about the music again. Hey, isn't that group we all love playing somewhere tonight?? I agree that the redundant negativity is what is killing the vibe. Change will come if it's meant to. In the meantime let's just get on with it.

    Actually since it's in Australia, they already played at like 4 am EST time this morning. haha But yes, I agree with everything!

    That time change thing gets me every time. Now I have to go read the setlist and fanview threads though.

    I like this post and I like the call out, although I haven't realized too much negativity so far anymore...

    ... I always liked this forum for the kind people and the great discussions and for the wonderful band that unites us all....
    this forum made tour travels possible, let me meet great folks around the world, kept me updated all along about my fave musicians and is an "outlet for my PJ passion"

    so, to me this post just speaks out my thoughts, especially because I will be offline for a while due to a trip to Africa and I really hope and wish that the forum will be the same happy place or even happier after my return... so may the good vibes last and maybe grow... :-h

    I agree with MedozK's post that any moment spent on negative things is a moment you will never get back. Many positive events for PJ's 2013 tour and upcoming 2014 tour.
